Kirk B. "Brad" Piper, 64, died September 12, 2025, at his home in Otis, Kansas.  He was born August 5, 1961, in Harrington, Kansas, the son of Clyde and Phyllis (Rodgers) Piper.

Kirk worked in road construction in his early years and lost his arm and shoulder as the result of an accident. He didn't let that slow him down as he worked many different jobs from cook to farm work, tree service and procuring scrap metal.  He worked hard and played hard.  He loved car racing, dominoes, fishing and shooting guns. He loved to watch westerns, especially ones with John Wayne, and just like his idol Kirk was known to be a straight shooter.

On August 12, 1993, he fell in love with Dianna Glaze and they have shared the last 32 years together.

Other survivors include; his son, Patrick Kirk Piper of St. John; stepdaughter, Jacqualyn Powell of Otis; stepson, Dustin Hawkins of El Dorado; brother, Daniel Piper of Harrison, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Benjamin, Allie Jo, Destiny, Aiden, Brayden, Alea, Danielle, Gracie, and Callan; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepson, Daniel Glaze, brother, Mickey Piper, and a sister, Debbie Glaze.

Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
