Homer Nelson "Bud" Latham, 92, died June 2, 2025, in Roosevelt, Utah.  He was born September 16, 1932, in Eads, Colorado.  Bud graduated from Hoisington High School in 1951.

On May 19, 1951, he eloped to Las Vegas, New Mexico and married his high school sweetheart, Peggy Pennington. They lived in Great Bend for several years before moving to Vernal, Utah in 1968. They later returned to Kansas upon their retirement, residing in Turon, Kansas.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kala Oaks and husband Jeff of Vernal, Utah, and Annie Latham of Vernal, Utah; 6 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, his parents and his son, Gregory Latham.

A private family graveside service will be held in the Hoisington Cemetery.
