Frederick Allen Wohlcke, 67, died January 3, 2021, at Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka.  He was born October 19, 1953, in Pratt, Kansas, the son of Andrew and Mary Ellen (Anderson) Wohlcke.  Fred graduated from Hoisington High School in 1971 and went on to get his degree in engineering from Kansas State University.

A lifetime Hoisington resident, Fred worked for over 30 years as a civil engineer at Evans, Bierly, Hutchinson & Associates of Great Bend.  He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his Boston Terrier, Mindy and also playing video games and gambling.

He is survived by; his sister, Vicki Wilton and husband Larry of Hoisington and his brother, Tom Wohlcke of Hoisington; two nieces, Laura Hall of Berthoud, Colorado, and Tina Marchiani of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three nephews, Jeff Wohlcke of Manhattan, Kansas, Jarrod Wohlcke of Pueblo, Colorado; and Greg Wohlcke of Westminster, Colorado; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 12th, 2021 the Hoisington Cemetery.
